Shaurya Agarwal

As a Sophomore undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Entrepreneurship and innovation at UCSD, I am seeking an opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization. I am passionate about solving problems using technology and design while integrating all technical aspects with my unwavering passion for entrepreneurship, and I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on society.

• Model United Nations (MUN) Team: Participated in more than 20 conferences and won 15 awards. Served as the Head of School MUN as a Chairperson. Debate Team: Participated in various intra and inter-school debates.
• The Recipe Project: Founded in 2015, based in Gurgaon, India. The Recipe Project is a subscription programme that delivers nutritious recipes for every meal of the day. The recipes are collected from the community and contributed by grandmothers, mothers, and others. Our aim is to give back to the community using our interest in coding and computers.
• National Music Competitions: Represented the school as a singer in 2 national music competitions.
• Student-Run Political Research Organization: Worked for 2 years as an editor and writer at the organization founded in 2019. Wrote and edited articles on Identity Politics in Lebanon and the Debt Trap and the Road and Belt Initiative by China.
• Computer Science Course: Participated in a course about computer science, algorithmic learning, and computational thinking conducted by the University of Pennsylvania over three weeks.
