  • Inspected all phases of powerboat assembly from the time the hull came in until it shipped.
  • Wrote gig lists of any exceptions found, with suggestions for correction. Issued lists to line leads then followed up to make sure issues had been properly resolved.
  • Led a team of 4-6 QC inspectors and assigned daily tasks.
  • Interviewed job applicants and hired qualified people for QC positions as needed.
  • Trained all QC employees in proper procedures and techniques.
  • Seatrialed boats up to 51' in the Gulf of Mexico, performing complete systems checks, and creating gig sheets and performance reports from all sea trials.
  • Trained new hires to sea trial boats.
  • Worked with the sales team and customer service to sea trial potential customers on boats, pointing out features, and answering questions.

  • Was responsible for updating build orders with any changes once the boat was in production and reconciling build orders with invoices to be sure buyer received everything he paid for and paid for everything he received.
  • Created a data sheet of all components installed on the boat with serial numbers, paint codes, etc. to be included with the owner's paperwork.
  • Photographed completed boats in detail for completed boats file on internal server.
  • Photographed boats for Dealer's Circle website so sales team could pull up pictures to show potential buyers.
