Making sure the building is safe and functional before staff and students enter the school is my top priority. Other daily duties include checking the status of work orders, inspection of the building for needed repairs or potential hazards, meeting with the building principal for daily updates on personnel issues as well as helping to make the school function as smoothly as possible.

• Report vandalism or other damage to property to supervisor.
• Check and stock inventory throughout facility.
• Move furniture for cleaning and set up for special events.
• Assemble basic furniture and supplies for offices and other multi-use rooms.
• Keep building premises clean inside and outside.
• Organize daily cleaning schedules for nighttime custodial team.
