
Emergency Management Training: 21 Semester hours of undergraduate study in emergency management to include foundations of emergency management, understanding environmental hazards, disaster response, disaster recovery, and comprehensive emergency planning. Wildland Fire Command Course for Sheriffs, FEMA ICS 300-400, and IS 100, 200, NIMS 700, 800, and many others. Emergency management experience with wildfires, tornado/high wind events, flooding, and tornadoes in southeastern Colorado. Wildland Firefighting Training and Experience: Fire Fighter 2 certification, S-130/190, S-290 Fire Behavior, L-280 Followership to Leadership, FI-11- Wildland Fire Observation and Origin Scene Protection. Manage Wildland Firefighting agency within the Sheriffs Office, response to multiple fires in southeastern Colorado in various roles from Incident commander, Operations, Logistics, and firefighter in other districts.
