As patrol officer, I respond to calls for service throughout the city. My current assignment is a member of the traffic division and Motors division. I am also currently serving on the SWAT team as an operator/paramedic, defensive tactics and firearms instructor.

• Directed traffic at high-volume special events for public safety and order.
• Communicated with victims, suspects and witnesses to gather and provide information regarding criminal events.
• Gathered evidence, interviewed victims and interrogated suspects to conduct thorough criminal investigations.

As a Deputy Ranger, I responsible for State Park security and Law Enforcement at Echo State Park and Rockport State Park. I independently conduct routine patrols and criminal investigations within the state parks and surrounding state and federal lands in Summit County and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forrest

• Coordinated with other law enforcement agencies during joint investigations.
• Responded to emergency calls for service and provided assistance to citizens.
• Patrolled designated area to assist persons in trouble and render other public safety services.
• Monitored and investigated suspicions persons and situations and unusual activities.

As a Deputy Paramedic, I was responsible for independently conducting routine patrols and criminal investigations while responding to calls for service of county contract cities.

• Conducted traffic stops, issued citations, and made arrests when necessary.
• Interacted with citizens in a professional manner during routine patrols or while responding to calls for service.
• Collaborated with Emergency Medical Services personnel to coordinate services for patients.
• Performed advanced life support procedures on scene or en route to hospital.

As a 911 Dispatcher, I was responsible for taking incoming 911 and non-emergency calls for service. I interpret the natures of call and urgency of the need for assistance and input them into CAD system using current police and medical protocols.

• Dispatched medical crews to accident scenes according to severity of injuries reported by witnesses or victims.
• Provided pre-arrival instructions to callers in life threatening situations.
• Prioritized responses to public emergency and non-emergent calls to promptly dispatch police, fire and EMS while tracking data in real-time.
• Coordinated activities between multiple agencies during emergency situations.

As a Patrol Officer, I was responsible for patrolling the city looking for violations of Utah Traffic and Criminal Code.

• Patrolled assigned areas to detect and prevent criminal activity.
• Provided security at public events such as parades, concerts, or sporting events.
• Provided testimony in court when necessary concerning investigations conducted.
• Prepared detailed reports on incidents and arrests made.
