Project Manager

Tann Corporation
03.2020 - 12.2023
  • I handle every aspect of the job. Once sold, I work hand in hand with the customer, management, the design team, purchasing department, the fabrication shop, controls team and shipping. Once the unit is designed and is approved by the customer I am responsible for ordering all the materials and parts needed to complete the fabrication of the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer. I order everything from the raw steel to the last nut and bolt. I work directly with our vendors and then with purchasing to get what is needed, including issuing requisition forms with quotes, filling out BOMs, and managing material transfers. Once everything is ordered, I will oversee fabrication, keeping an up to date schedule and communicating that with management and the customer. When the unit is complete and is ready to ship, I will already have a transport company lined up and scheduled, truck layouts gone over, packing lists complete and BOLs filled out. Generally between fabrication and shipping, I will do a site visit to determine the best way of off loading each truck, making sure there are no hidden obstacles and the customer has done all the prep work needed to except delivery. I also will have scheduled all labor, rentals, cranes, and have hotel rooms booked for out of town jobs. Once the unit is shipped ...I will travel to the job site to oversee the mechanical installation. Once the mechanical, electrical, and piping is done, I will schedule a time for our Controls Team to travel out to begin commissioning the RTO. Once commissioned, I will have the customer trained and then signed off. All the time, keeping the job under or at budget.
