I did cheerleading for my whole 4 years in high school. Cheerleading helped me get out of my shell since I was a shy kid during my freshman year. I did basketball for one year which was my senior year I went in cold turkey to try it out since I have family who also pursued basketball as well wasn't my cup of tea but I had fun being around good coaches who taught me how to have routine and how push through. Volleyball was my all time favorite because I had a very amazing coach who knew how to be my friend but also knew when to put his foot down. Volleyball I did for 2 years ( junior and senior) it got cut short because I couldn't control my shin splints but I was given a opportunity to become a manager and that taught me how to be direct and how to communicate with my teammates and the other coaches. Judo was my second favorite I had a amazing experience with judo. Judo taught me how to have thick skin cause with the coaches they were used to shouting at us and putting us through hard situations when you're stuck in one. It also taught me how think fast and take action cause that's a skill I had to learn quickly, teamwork was displayed everyday with judo my coaches had teamwork exercises that we had to do everyday. To sum this up I learned valuable lessons with all these sports I played.
