My role as an experienced paramedic was to respond to emergency situations and provide advanced skills and support to ill and injured patients. I also assisted in several extra roles that included conducting training and teaching continuing education. I served as a union steward for Local 622 for over 2 years and played a significant role in working with the City of Fort Dodge to include the EMS division of the department into Local 622 as bargaining members.
