Handling Nostro Reconciliation and Payments Investigation for Citi Bank Nostro accounts and Citi Group clients account as part of GRU (Global Reconciliation Unit).
Dealing with Payments Investigation as BAU (Swift Messaging, return of unapplied funds back to correspondent/Agent banks, manual payments, managing client queries to locate their funds).
Having experience in making manual further credit of funds to CITI corporate client accounts for incorrectly formatted payments which cannot be processed as STP.
Handle Faster payments, SEPA, OFAC and SWIFT.
Having good knowledge on Swift messages and its purposes especially with MT103 and MT202, Knowledge in Clearing systems and Currency Cut-offs.
Investigating and identifying duplications of entries if any due to return of Cover funds in Error and notifying the customer/correspondent bank to cover the out of pocket scenarios.
To perform Daily control checks on incoming/outgoing payments and allocation of volume to team to investigate and take necessary action to clear the outstanding funds under Nostro account.
