Summary

With a strong background in experience and education, complemented by an intense interest in providing crucial assistance to clients in need, I approach each client with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to encouraging them to recover their lives. Attending an addiction meeting during my Marriage and Family Therapy degree program ignited a deep-rooted desire within me to become an addiction counselor. Drawing from personal experiences and dedication to individuals struggling with addiction, I have developed a passion for working with individuals from all communities and personalizing treatment plans to address the specific cultural and social factors that may contribute to their substance abuse. My main objective is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and motivated to embark on their journey to sobriety.
