Created and produced Colorado Ability Festival (2017), a festival aimed at empowering persons with disabilities and educating the public.

Managed a team of case managers and a volunteer coordinator at Colorado’s largest shelter for adult women experiencing homelessness. Responsible for staff hiring, training, scheduling, supervision and performance reviews. Earned a sixteen percent merit/COLA wage increase at six months of service. Helped to create, develop and build out new programs to include DMV2GO, a mobile provider of free drivers licenses and state ID’s. I contracted with Aurora Public Library for the provision of free laptops, and with Criket to obtain smartphones for participants. I also contracted with an agency called “Peace, Paws and Pets” for the provision of free vaccinations and other services to our participant’s pets.

Professionally trained and supervised eight CSU Social Work interns at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, assigning final grades.

Created/Produced DRS Grass Roots Fest (2012), a downtown parade and music festival for people with disabilities that was third of its kind in the nation and fourth in the world. Featuring keynote Temple Grandin, three bands, belly dancers, drummers, and an activist parade, it profited in its first year.

Created/Produced CSU Disability Pride Festival (2013), another fundraiser aimed at empowering persons with disabilities and which featured Denver's Flobots, three other bands and a two mile parade down College Avenue.

Launched and co-facilitated DRS's first Women's Empowerment (WE) group (2014).

Served as legal representative and advocate for SSI/SSDI cases from application to hearing before an administrative law judge, winning over ninety percent of cases from 2012-14.

Transitioned nursing home clients to independent living via Colorado Choice Transitions (CCT) program.

Lectured about disability and spoke at public events and for CSU social work classes.

Served as voice of agency in media relations (radio, television and print).

Participated in radio interviews and commercial advertising spots.

Helped create an educational infomercial to represent agency.
