I have worked in pre-op and pacu since 2008. I get patients ready for surgery including patients history,vital signs,IV,and answering any questions to make them comfortable. I work closely with the anesthesia team with any medication needs or nerve blocks needed for orthopedic surgeries. I am there with physicians for any care needed. In pacu providing post op care including administering pain meds and discharge teaching to make there home recovering the best i can. I have recently been asked to take on the pre-op and pacu charge nurse that i have taking. It is very important to me to work as a team and proving the best care to our patients as possible.

I worked in cardiac for 1 year and then went to birthplace.Working there recovering patients after deliverery and post op care for gyn patients and well baby nursery.
