Summary

For over 27 years I have had the privilege to provide Case Management/Service Coordination & other support services to individuals that require specialized support in all areas of their life. My experience includes providing supports & resources to natural families within the WV I/DD Waiver program, individuals challenged with Traumatic Brain Injury, Individual Support Settings (ISS), Licensed Group homes, and working within Special Projects (Per Diem & Grant) that involve individuals that transition from the hospital setting to the community. My experience also includes working closely and in-depth within the WV Forensics system in conjunction with attorneys, advocates, legal guardians, probations officers and honorable judges throughout the state. My educational background combines a degree in Bachelor of Arts specialization in education K-12 & psychology. It's essential to the person that I am supporting that they know I am completely present and truly listening. I am an enthusiastic advocate for supported employment services and part of the support system that teaches and empowers men and women to reach their own unique potential. My foundation in performing my service to others daily is to ensure it's provided with an empathetic understanding to each unique individual. I am a responsible self-starter who communicates well and is dedicated to improving the well-being of participants. As a seasoned professional with social services, I possess an in-depth knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for WV I/DD Waiver, Medicaid, Medicare & Social security regulations. As a mental health professional I am driven to help others overcome personal obstacles and am comfortable working autonomously or in a team-based setting.
