L.A Burdick is a cafe/chocolate shop. They specialize on their high quality chocolates. My responsibilities there include making drinks such as espresso based drinks, french style hot chocolate etc, Working the register on the cafe side and working the retail side.

• I worked with a team to deep clean and maintenance clean all of campus during the summer.
• Responsibilities for this job included cleaning in a fast and thorough way and managing time well.

• I sold the Vintage antiques, furniture and custom doors, tables and more and provided customer's with accurate understanding of their purchases while the owner was busy or gone.
• I helped facilitate the atmosphere of ministry at the Vintage, as a key aspect of the owners desire was for the shop to minister to others.
• I helped the the Owner start an unofficial coffee station where espresso based drinks were created in exchange for donations that contributed to the owner's, Robert Welch's, ministry which included homeless ministry, facilitating several prayer nights and supporting missionaries.
• After the coffee station was created I oversaw running it and facilitating a welcoming environment. Several church groups, ministries and ministry partners met here. I trained the owner and the individual he hired to replace me, because of my plans to leave for school, on how to pull espresso shots and steam milk.

• Worked full-time hours with two active little boys ages 1 and 3.
• Worked with the Mother, Abigail, to create a good schedule that incorporated, fun, education and structure. I then tried my best to maintain this structure.
• I took them for lots of walks, read books to them, took them outside to play often, helped them with the 3 year old with his pre-k that he did on his iPad, and of course made sure they took their nap and ate at the proper times.
• My responsibilities also included cleaning the house, doing the laundry for the family, and cooking meals for the children.

• During the summer I volunteered for a couple of weeks as a counselor.
• My responsibilities included keeping the children safe, leading them in many fun and somewhat rigorous activities, and getting to know and caring about each of them individually.
