• The Senate Security Officers are responsible for the Senate areas in the building. The officers are to keep areas of the Capital safe and secure at all times from disruptions and riots.

Adjust and replace tapes in recording machines used in recording court proceedings. I've assisted in Judicial Enforcement by going to serve subpoenas, evictions, and summons. *I assist at CARTA(Capital Area Regional Training Academy)Post Academy, in train new hires, showing them levels of Control and Defensive Tactics using PPCT System. I do in-service training for the Baton Rouge City Constable Office, ensuring that participants learn job-related techniques pertaining to self-defense, along with training the City Constable Reserve Officers. I've assisted Baton Rouge City Police in the Equalizer Defensive Tactics class for Women.

It was a special operations picking up violators on domestic violence chargers alone with written up the warrant of arrest and having a Judge sign the warrant.

• My primary responsibility was to maintain and inventory weapons, ammunition, and tools in the Armory. Which included issuing and cleaning weapons, along with transferring inmate work time. I often receive reports of all kinds and have to properly document each one, familiarize myself with policies, guidelines, and procedures. I had to be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of firearms, application of force, and the use of restraints.
• Cadet: I worked in the towers with a rifle, where I ensured no one came close to the fence, therefore preventing any escape.

• Ensured guest and customer safety through effective utilization of public relations practices to prevent incidents, educate individuals, and enforce security measures. Maintained a secure environment both internally and externally. I also supervised work activities in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.

• Senior Officer: I supervise and control inmates and maintain the security of the Institution, by supervising inmate living quarters (housing unit), work details, recreation and other areas by maintaining consistent control and discipline. Participate in inmate pat searches and searches of inmate housing and non-housing units. As a Senior Officer, I write numerous incident reports, informal resolutions, and memoranda. I've worked Contol Center which is a sensitive area, where I had to issue out keys and equipment to staff, identify inmates leaving out of the Institution and monitor alarm system. I've also worked at the Front Entrance, where I handle each visitor and inmate discreetly, tactfully, and in a professional manner.
• Black Affairs Manager: Duties consisted of preparing quarterly reports, coordinating programs, and attending Affirmative Action Committee Meetings. Also, address any concerns or questions that staff may have pertaining to the job and present these questions to the committee. I actively participated in the Incentive Awards Work Group, which developed a program to enable us to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Federal Medical Center, Carville Incentive Awards Program. I also started an aerobics exercise program in the Wellness Center.

• Ensured a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring inmate behavior and promptly addressing any concerns.
• Conducted thorough searches of inmates, cells, and prison grounds to identify contraband and prevent illegal activities.
• Managed the supervision of prisoners throughout their participation in activities such as meals, recreational opportunities, work obligations, necessary medical visits, and courtroom appearances.
• Responsible for overseeing and managing assigned dormitory, as well as supervising immediate staff in the area
