Experienced molecular virology researcher and effective team leader, skilled in leading both academic studies on PVA viruses and operational teams in a large cleaning company. Proficient in applying advanced molecular techniques and managing large-scale projects to enhance research and service delivery. Strong analytical and leadership capabilities bridge scientific inquiry and operational excellence.
As a Visiting Student Researcher at the University of Helsinki, I was engaged in advanced research focused on PVA viruses. This role involves employing a variety of molecular techniques to understand the biology, genetics, and interaction of PVA viruses with their hosts My work aims to contribute to the development of more effective strategies for managing PVA infections in agricultural settings.
Job responsibilities:
Research Design: Develop and refine research proposals and experiments focused on PVA viruses.
Molecular Techniques: Employ a range of molecular techniques including PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, and DNA/RNA extraction to study virus characteristics and interactions.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data using bioinformatics tools and statistical software to understand virus behavior and genetics.
Experimental Execution: Conduct laboratory experiments under controlled conditions to test hypotheses related to virus pathology and resistance mechanisms.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other researchers and faculty, sharing findings through regular meetings and presentations. Participate in seminars and workshops to stay updated with the latest developments in virology and molecular biology.
