Completing my master's program in December 2023, I'm working in Dr. Xuejun Li's Stem Cell Lab on a project focused on Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP), a rare inherited disorder causing lower limb stiffness. Our project, "Investigating Neurofilament's Role in SPG11 Pathogenesis," aims to uncover the mechanisms underlying SPG11 (Spastic Paraplegia Gene 11) and identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets using a multidisciplinary approach.
