Assisted Dr. Christopher M. Westerkamp in the dissection of a human cadaver used for anatomical study at Ferris State University. This opportunity required hands-on learning, diligence in tool safety, and communication with peers with whom I was working.

Ferris State University's Pre-Medical and Pre-PA Club worked with Hope House, a free medical clinic in Big Rapids, to promote their services and raise awareness. Responsibilities included organizing and scheduling a tabling event on campus, as well as engaging with students and staff.

Assisted in serving and engaging with the Big Rapids community during the International Festival of Cultures, held at Ferris State University. Responsibilities included serving food, providing event information to guests, and communicating with event staff to ensure proper stocking of food.

Assisted Ferris State University's Pre-Medicine and Pre-PA club in making fleece blankets for donation to the Angels of Action blanket drive to support the Big Rapids community.

Participated in a group volunteer effort with the Ferris State University Pre-Medicine and Pre-PA Club. Our group of students lent support to the animal shelter staff by improving the cleanliness of canine enclosures, and socializing the resident cats.
