Assisted in supervising children (ages 5-12).


Science Alliance, Mentor 08/2022 to 05/2023

Mentored 5th graders through the process of selecting a topic for the Science Fair, and guiding them through the process of designing, completing and presenting their project.


ENGIN 09/2021 to 06/2022

Met with a students from Ukraine via Zoom. Read books, spoke, and helped with writing assignments in order to improve student’s grasp of the English language; lessons came to an end due to war.



Awards

Second Place Award  03/2020

Contra Costa County Science Fair Project. Experimented with different materials to build a trumpet mute for optimal muting and minimal push-back while playing the trumpet.

Third Place Award  03/2021

Contra Costa County Science Fair Project. Led a team of two people attempting to induce chemical reactions without the use of solvents. Used a mortar and pestle to grind reactants together.

Second Place Award 03/2022

Contra Costa County Science Fair Project Took previous year’s project further and tried to induce solventless crystal formation; additionally, attempted to use machines, as opposed to hand grinding, to make the process quicker and more viable on a larger scale.

Presidential Medal for Volunteer Work 01/2022

Volunteered with the City of San Ramon Park and Recreation, working with children at Summer camps.
