Siddharth Senthil

My name is Siddharth Senthil. I am an incredibly driven individual who values hard work, responsibility, discipline, and integrity. I worked in retail for one year where I learned how to engaged with various sorts of people in a professional manner. I've also worked in door to door sales where I've learned how to overcome rejection, and most of all how to present and sell myself to others. I love working with clients and customers in an in person setting and developing relationships. As a person some of my hobbies include playing tennis, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends. I'm always looking to grow personally and professionally and I hope to be an active member at your organization soon!

• 2023 I was awarded this award by the state of Illinois for my excellent work ethic in high school which allowed me to graduate with a high GPA




4.0 Award

• I receive the 4.0 award all four years of High School for maintaining a GPA greater than or equal to 4.0




Illinois BPA top 5 placement in Word Processing Event

• March 2022 I placed in the top 5 for my word processing event qualifying for nationals in the Illinois state leadership conference.




Illinois BPA Top 10 placement in Word Processing Event

• 2021 I placed top 10 in my Word Processing event at the state level in 2021 qualifying and participating at the national level.




Science Olympiad Gold Medal

• 2021 I received a Gold Medal in my Science Olympiad event at the regional level facing lots of competition and with little resources.

Honors Society: Mu Alpha Theta (Oswego, Illinois) 2020-2023

• I had to tutor other students in math, as well as maintain a 4.0 to be a part of the organization, this helped me develop my time management skills

Athletics: Varsity Tennis (Oswego, Illinois) 2019-2023

• I played 3rd doubles for my Varsity tennis team and helped to be a leader in the team by mentoring underclassmen. I learned how to work as a team, lead by example, and manage my time being a student athlete. We ended up winning many matches and during our 2021 season won the Southwest Prairie Conference

Club: Indian Student Association (Oswego, Illinois) 2020-2023

• This club fosters a community of Indian students at my old high school. I was an active participant in the club and this allowed me develop a sense of community within my high school.

Club: Business Professionals of America (Oswego, Illinois) 2020-2023

• This is a professional business competition club where participants compete in various events to place at the state and national level. I participated as a member of this club and as competitor in the word processing events, in this club I learned how to engage and dress in a formal business setting.

Club: Science Olympiad (Oswego, Illinois) 2019-2022

• This is a science competition club where members are assigned competitive events to compete with other schools. In this club my event was ping pong parachute where my job was to craft a rocket that launches a parachute attached to a ping pong ball to see how much airtime the ball can get. During the 2021 season I placed first in that event receiving a gold medal. My experience in this club taught me how to think creatively and outsmart competition and how to best take advantage of limited resources.

Volunteer: St. Patrick's Nursing Home, (Naperville, Illinois) June- July 2021

• My Job at the nursing home was to serve residents refreshments during happy hour as well as assist them to do certain things like play bingo. I also gave them company and talked to them in order to boost their moods. With this experience I learned how to make conversation with people regardless of who they are, and how to be patient and compassionate to others. This also taught me the value of community service.
