As an enthusiastic high school student with a profound interest in botany, I am deeply passionate about plants and their ecosystems. Driven by a desire to expand my understanding, I am actively pursuing opportunities to deepen my knowledge of plant biology and cultivation techniques, nurturing my curiosity and fostering my growth in this fascinating field.
While working at the firm, I focused primarily on creating and organizing plant catalogs—researching species, compiling photos, and noting key information like bloom time, water needs, and design applications. I also attended meetings with the principal, assisted with site inspections by taking measurements and notes, and later took on managing the firm’s social media, where I shared project updates and plant features.
I’m currently working on a book about blooming plants in California, driven by my love for plants and my interest on how every season, California is covered in beauty bloomed by the nature around us. Every month, I visit nurseries and trails to document the flowers in bloom. I’ve been creating a detailed catalog sorted by bloom time and plant type, which I am turning into a book with notes and illustrations of each flower.
I think of myself as a creative and hardworking individual who always strives to do things right. I have strong skills in plant classification and a broad knowledge of plants, which I believe is highly relevant to this role. I also excel at building positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and visions are met effectively.
