Working as a caddy for the world-famous Sandhills Golf Club for five years I learned how to deliver a high level of friendly customer service while also paying attention to detail. A lot of the job was menial like carrying the bag, cleaning the ball, raking bunkers, or holding the flag. But the main skill caddying included determining distances, advising gilders on club selection, and informing them on how their game is holding up.
Camp Barnabas is a special-needs camp. At this camp I worked with all sorts of people that had a variety of disabilities and chronic illnesses. I was hired to work on the ropes course, as a lifeguard, and as cabin support. Being an extreme team member required flexibility and patience for disabled and chronically ill adults and youth.
