Simeon Poulathas

I am an incoming Villanova University student going into the Villanova School of Business pursuing a degree in Finance, with a strong interest in wealth and asset management. I am actively building a foundation in portfolio construction, capital markets, risk management, and long-term investment strategy, while seeking opportunities to apply classroom learning to real-world financial decision-making.

My experiences reflect a balance of leadership, analytical thinking, and teamwork. Through DECA, I have competed for multiple years in Marketing Management and Finance Team Decision Making, sharpening my problem-solving, presentation, and strategic analysis skills. I have also held leadership roles for the Mayor's Student Government, and cultural organizations, including serving as President of the Greek Heritage Club and Treasurer on the executive board of a community youth organization, where I managed budgets and financial planning.

I value disciplined thinking, ethical leadership, and continuous learning, and I am eager to grow within environments that emphasize long-term value creation. I am currently exploring opportunities in finance that allow me to deepen my understanding of investments, markets, and client-focused strategy while contributing meaningfully to a team.

• Anti-Defamation League Conference Attendee; Represented Cherry Hill East; selected for academics and character within school community.
• Selected Cherry Hill East High School Representative to Cherry Hill Township Student Government Day. Selection based on grades and leadership role from school organization.
• Awarded 1st place nationally in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Hagia Sophia Essay Contest. The essay was written in Greek and captured my personal experience visiting the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople (modern day Istanbul).
