As a high school member of the National Honor Society (NHS), I had the opportunity to volunteer for various community service projects. I actively contributed to supporting the homeless and continued to engage with the Bakersfield community through involvement in local schools and other community events. My experiences included helping run drives, participating in community clean-ups, and assisting in educational outreach programs. These activities allowed me to develop strong leadership skills, a commitment to service, and a deep understanding of community needs.
