I safely and humanely restrain animals of all sizes for routine procedures, checks, and treatments. I also assist in ear cleanings, and nail trims. Walk and care for boarding patients or hospitalized patients. Review and document patient behavior and vital signs. In addition to this I prepare and draw up vaccines as well as other medications such as Gabapentin, or Trazadone. Help in collecting fecal analysis, drawing blood, and uranalysis. Another thing is I monitor patients under anesthesia, and recognize signs of distress and complications. Furthermore I take history about the patient and report to the veterinarian. Educate the client on preventative care, vaccines, treatments, and make sure communication between me and the client is strong. Lastly I conduct general maintenance by maintaining a clean and sterile environment. This is through disinfecting exam rooms, sweeping the clinic, cleaning kennels, mopping, and throwing out the garbage. I also stock and organize medical equipment, as well as prepare bandages, and other medical supplies as needed.

As a Floor Support Technician I provided essential support to therapist, administrative staff, and the front desk team. I ensure the facility runs smoothly and safely, allowing therapist to focus on giving the best possible care for their clients. I maintain a safe and clean environment. For example disinfecting commonly use areas like the gross motor activity rooms, therapy rooms, group activity room, conference rooms, and bathrooms. I perform light maintenance on broken toys, rearranging furniture, and assembling furniture for the clients to play on. I also manage inventory and supplies. I kept a close eye on stock levels for essential equipment like first aid, paper, napkins, ink, diapers, bags, wet wipes, etc. Making sure all restrooms, therapy rooms, group activity rooms, nap rooms were fully stocked, and report when items were running low. In addition I would assist the administrative team by filing, organizing, and alphabetizing documents. I also helped in scanning documents and emailing them as needed. To add on I would provide front desk coverage, by answering calls, and managing client check ins and dismissals. Lastly I would ensure all walkie talkie were functioning and report any issues if needed.
