  • My father instilled a love for nature in my since I was very young. Going on a hike is one of my favorite ways to clear my mind and also get great exercise.
  • I have been involved with music since I was born. My mother and father can both play instruments and sing, so I was raised in a very musical environment. I can read music, sing, play trumpet, play piano (a little), and play drums.
  • I'm not sure that there is anything more intriguing and fascinating to me than the scientific fields involved with studying the universe. My existence is so minor and insignificant when compared to the scale of the universe I live in and I love that. It makes me feel more intrinsically significant when I can look out and study this vast expanse that I am a part of.
  • My field of interest and the field that I want to pursue a career in is a mixture of neuroscience, neurology, and neuropsychopharmacology. I am unbelievably fascinated by the mechanisms of the brain and how it produces my conscious experience. Also, I am very interested in neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, and Alzheimer's and I believe that there is a cure out there that I want to try and discover.
  • Quantum Mechanics and the study of the universe kind of go hand in hand for me, since it's really a study of matter at the smallest, most precise level. It's really just a field of study that aims to explain the mechanics that allow the entire universe, including me, to exist. As complex as it is, I love learning about it.
  • I'm a massive movie buff. I've been watching movies all my life and I find something so important and amazing in the artform of film. I created a film for the 2021-2022 VHSL Film Festival and though it didn't win any awards, the experience of creating a film and having a large audience view it was incredible.
  • I'm a big fan of stand up comedy and I find it to be one the purest forms of art. The human existence is most fundamentally defined by its most disturbing aspects and humor serves a way for us to cope with that.
