I’ve been a rigger for 90% of my time at nucor over the course of 3 1/2 years. The expectations each day are to build joists with high quality with quantity following behind. Safety is most important and we strive to be as safe as possible. I enjoy rigging because it’s always something new and everyday I get to improve myself and build relationships with my teammates. Working around my teammates has built me better as a person as well as a teammate. I’ve ran every spot on your rigging table to a high standard, and hold myself to a higher standard. I have been single hoist crane, forklift, and welder certified in the past.

I was also a welder for about a year and was a backup baseplater off and on during that time.
