Hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure entry-level Patient Care Technician position. Ready to help team achieve company goals.
Everyone in the team has a role for the night and we use it to all work together and get the task and hand done. Tasks often include answering phone calls, getting orders ready, taking them out to the customer, helping customers place orders often over the the phone or in person, and also helping the servers when time allows.
I cared for a newborn baby and his special needs brother over the summers in high school. The boy with special needs had both Autism and Down Syndrome. Tasks included changing them, feeding them, putting them down for naps, teaching them basic skills, and entertaining them for hours at a time.
The team would prepare and dispense the groceries for customers. This would mean the job was both on and off the sales floor. Often times we would talk with the customers on the floor about placement of items in the store and off the floor we would discuss their order and then would assist them with anything else needed. I often answered the phone multiple times a shift and would help resolve any problems they might have.
Job shadowing at a smaller hospital in Princeton, Indiana in high school as well as at the Women's Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana currently.
In Princeton I would watch the medical professionals give patient care, draw blood and test it, and view x-rays. In the Deaconess Women's Hospital I view a Clinical Nurse Practitioner, watching her view, chart and treat patients. We have a close relationship, as she previously taught my medical classes in high school, and she explains to me what she is doing, why she's doing it, and I often ask her questions when they arise.
I took Spanish 1 through 3 in high school, and still use the basics daily. There are a lot of Spanish-speaking workers in Texas Roadhouse so I often have to communicate to them through their language. I also translate for some of the servers who don't know any Spanish.
