Clinical rotation at SMJH
During clinical rotations, I've completed tasks such as accessioning, cryotomy, grossing, microtomy, IHCs, special stains, and embedding, which included cutting control slides and patient tissue, performing maintenance on both the automated stainer and frozen stain lines, loading and unloading to run IHC and special stains, and making special stains by hand if needed to be run manually. I also helped with maintenance and upkeep around the laboratory.
