Actor, Sly Goodridge is an Actor, Author, Recording Artist, and veteran in the entertainment industry for over 40 years. Mr. Goodridge’s three novels, Waiting for The Storm, Midnights the secrets of the wings, and Meet Me in Paris, have been selling globally on Amazon.com, along with his musical recordings. His 2021 Caribbean-style cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight, from The Lion King,” and his July 1st, 2021, original composition entitled, “Big Brother Errol,” with his February 2022 release of “Caribbean Lady,” has increased his worldwide fan base and propelled his catalog sales.
Mr. Goodridge is a veteran of the US Army and the US Navy. He has amassed a great following with his multitude of talents that also includes, Voice Over actor, singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and music producer. Sly is a writer and producer of documentaries and a filmmaker with many productions under his belt. His music and music videos can be viewed on YouTube and are streamed globally on iTunes, Apple Music, Google Music, Amazon.com, Spotify, CD Baby, and all major internet stations.
Throughout the years when he was not busy as an IATSE Union Steward, a Technical Director, Lighting Director, or Production Manager, Sly appeared in the remake of the African Queen Pilot for ABC television. He was On and Off camera in Miami Vice, acted in Police training films, was a Voice Over actor in Metropolitan Mortgage Commercial. And now retired from the bustle of behind-the-camera work, he refocuses his career in acting.
Sly Goodridge is a current member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), and has held memberships in the Dramatist Guild and Authors League of America. He has served as an Executive Board member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees of the United States and Canada (IATSE Local 545 of Miami.) where he was a crewmember of the 1980’s television blocker buster, “Miami Vice.” He is the President and CEO of The Goodridge Entertainment Network Inc.
