I strive every day to better the lives of those around me as I lead consistently with empathy and grace. This March I decided to take on yet, another board position on a non-profit aimed towards an environmental cause called TerraServe Inc. Similarly to the fact that my non-profit organization is not related to my Silver Knight category it is evident that my diverse passion allows me to expand my knowledge and ultimately categorized me as a multi-faceted individual.
TerraServe, INC. is a youth-run environmental non-profit organization that aims to educate and promote sustainable careers. As ambassador I handle the marketing and maintain as a spokesperson with the ultimate goal of expanding our audience and spreading awareness about our mission.
There were many workshops including a self-defense workshop in place. I organized the T-shirts and hosted the guest speaker portion where we had many powerful women including Victoria Dobbs, Luisa Santos, Pamela Brown, Dr. Jackson and many more. We also, collaborated alongside non-profits including Angels and Allies.
The forefront of my priority was to make sure everyone was accompanied an extension of the chaperones to keep track of our members throughout our time on the field trip.
I was in charge of interviewing the volunteers alongside aiding the show including curtains, or even costume malfunctions essentially to predict the unpredictable and strategize a plan.
