I worked for Good Samaritan Health Care center in Yakima for 18 years. I was forced to stop working in September of 2019, because I did not have a valid social security number, only an ITIN. The immigration process took six years, and I was not allowed to work in the United States during that time. I received my legal resident status and social security number May 5th 2025. I am currently taking English classes during the day and seeking full time employment.
