Hello, my name is Sonnie Zayzay, and I am currently a student at Charlotte, University of North Carolina. I'm pursuing a major in Sociology with a minor in Africana Studies. After graduating, I aim to seek and maintain a full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, time management, and problem-solving skills. I am a hardworking and passionate individual with strong organizational skills eager to secure an entry-level position.I'm an event coordinator, fashion stylist, model, and creative director. I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities to broaden my horizons and explore my interests, and I believe that my diverse skill set will allow me to make a positive impact in a variety of fields. As of right now in my college journey, I am deeply passionate about studying domestic violence among black women. Through my coursework in Sociology and African studies, I have gained a deeper understanding of the systemic issues that contribute to this problem. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersectionality of race, gender, and socioeconomic factors that impact the experiences of black women who are affected by domestic violence. My goal is to shed light on this important issue, conduct research studies, and advocate for effective solutions that address the unique challenges faced by these women.
