Sophia Hoffman

I've played high school water polo for four years and club polo at Asphalt Green Waterpolo Club for four years. I started my waterpolo career as goalie, after two years switched to a field player. I enjoyed my time in goal, but wanted more action. I am a valuable player due to my communication and leadership skills in the water. I was Awarded with Thomas Worthington MVP defensive player of the year, first team all Ohio, All Ohio cup team and all Metro waterpolo team these demonstrate my defensive and offensive abilities in the water . My Academic awards include USA waterpolo Academic all American and scholar athlete for two years. These awards show my ability to balance the challenges of school and sports. I have been honored with two spirit awards including the USA water polo Nick Johnson award and The Courtney Fisher spirit award. These awards prove my dedication and passion I have for Waterpolo.
