Work History

Psychological Lab Assistant

Front Range Community College - Westminster Campus
12.2023 - Current

Since December 2023, I have proudly served as a Psychology Lab Assistant, a position I was invited to take on by my psychology professor after achieving top marks in the course. In this role, I assist in teaching and facilitating lab sessions for General Psychology students, covering essential topics such as cognitive psychology, psychological disorders, problem-solving, and sheep brain dissections. Through this experience, I have developed and demonstrated strong skills in teaching and supporting students, identifying brain structures and understanding their functions, and communicating complex psychological concepts clearly. This role has also allowed me to gain mastery of foundational psychological theories and deepen my overall understanding of the field.

Rocky Mountain Psychological Association

Front Range Community College - Westminster Campus
12.2023 - 04.2024

As part of my lab assistant position at FRCC, from December 2023 to April 2024, I collaborated with three peers on an independent research study examining the use of artificial intelligence among students and staff at Front Range Community College. The project involved applying the scientific method, developing a strong foundation in data collection and statistical analysis, and completing an IRB application to ensure ethical compliance. We concluded the research by presenting our full findings at the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association conference. This study is conducted annually, with each new cycle including an updated analysis and a formal debriefing for all participants to discuss results, address questions, and ensure transparency.
