During High school I have created a babysitting business of 5 regular families. I am responsible for 1 to 4 children at a time. This consists of taking the children out to do activities, dropping them off at locations, and making sure they have all their needs met. Along with those things I make sure to create a relationship with the children and the parents to have a lasting impact on the family. Not only do I do this during the day I have begun to overnight babysit for certain families during the summer.
I helped take care of the emotional and physical needs of 3 month to 3 year olds. My responsibilities diffed day to day but I mainly comforted and held children, played and made sure kids left their rooms and beds during the day, and assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and clean up. During my time volunteering I accumulated over 300 volunteer hours and I was recognized as rookie volunteer of the year.
