  • Added support for VMware ESXi interacting with VMware HPE WBEM providers
  • In the latest revision, I worked with VMware to integrate SUM with vSphere 7.0, providing HSM VM to update firmware on HPE servers
  • The tool was capable of updating other HPE hardware like iLO, Virtual Connect, and Onboard Administrator(OA) using RestFul and SOAP interfaces
  • Architected Jenkins environment to automate the build and test SUM using Selenium and Python for CI
  • We also used the Coverity static code analysis tool on our source code to find any coding issues
  • SUM client UI communicates with the backend server using RESTful APIs
  • I was the principal architect of the RESTful-based APIs
  • The core product architecture is implemented using QT(C++) and various open-source libraries like Mongoose web server, libssl/libcrypto, Pegasus, Openwsman, Jsoncpp, and curl library
  • To develop the new version of the UI, we used HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and require.js as a JavaScript module loader
  • I designed and implemented a new Active Record Design pattern library in C++ to interact with the SQLite database
  • This allowed SUM to scale and update 1000's servers in a single session
  • I worked on enabling SUM to be FIPS 140-2 compliant to adhere to federal customers.

Architect - Custom SPP Portal

Hewlett Packard Enterprise
2016.01 - 2019.01
  • I designed the custom SPP portal, which helps users customize SPP before downloading the reduced-size product
  • This was deployed on a Kubernetes cluster running on the OpenStack private cloud
  • When a new SPP was released, we used to get more than 10,000 hits per day to create new custom SPPs
  • I designed the application with distributed Rabbit MQ, CouchDB, and a Flask web server
  • We deployed this in our internal OpenStack private cloud using Swift as our object store to save newly created user custom SPPs
  • We interacted with HPE passport services to authenticate the customer
  • In addition, we used to validate if the customer was authorized to customize and download the SPP in some scenarios.

  • We actively train our models from the failed data and build models to predict and warn users before the hardware failure occurs
  • I was involved in architecting the automatic update of servers managed by Infosight
  • Currently, we monitor around 1.2 million servers for our customers
  • Required inventory data from servers were pulled and stored on an Elastic Search DB for easy retrieval
  • We pull the latest components applicable to a single server using the Custom SPP portal and compare them with the server's currently installed inventory data
  • Once the FW/SW components list is calculated, we push the updates to the remote server via an OPA agent running at the customer's data center.

  • The aim of this project is to show that a High available MySql Cluster can be deployed on an Amazon Elastic Cloud network
  • The application should be autonomous, should be able to detect node failure and automatically bring up nodes, and sync up the cluster with other nodes
  • I was one of the early users of Amazon Electric cloud when the world did not even know what cloud meant to the industry
  • I created Fedora Core AMI Images on Amazon Elastic Cloud with pre-installed MySQL Components
  • I Implemented a Java application for auto-starting MySQL components like node, Manager, and the Server
  • The application also keeps track of the load on the servers and starts the servers if any of the nodes fails
  • I developed LVS Linux images for load sharing between the servers using Ultra Monkey
  • Designed and partially implemented a Java-based administrative console to see the health of the whole system.

Module Leader

Wipro Technologies

  • I developed some of the tools, which included writing algorithms for processing the signals and designing the graphical user interface for all the tools, both existing and newly created tools in QT
  • The old Fortran tool had a layout template for defining the parameters
  • I developed a tool that parses the old design templates (cards), generates the basic skeleton code for my GUI framework, and generates the QT UI file; this eventually reduced the time to develop unique GUI tools by 70%
  • In addition, I also designed custom widgets in QT for easy data input and visualization
  • I also coordinated the offshore team for developing the tool GUI's.

Designer / Programmer
