Hi, I am Srinika Yogaraja. I'm interested in Neurology, specifically Behavioral Biology. I'm 16 years old, and my favorite color is sage green. My goal in the future is to be happy, healthy, rich, and doing what I like. Some of my favorite hobbies are skating, watching TV, eating, and spending time with the people I love. Some of my strengths are that I'm committed, and persevere even through hard times. A weakness that I'm willing to work on is giving respect to time, and being patient. I want to be a HOSA Chapter Officer because I want to increase chapter engagement, find more opportunities, and help members find their true calling in HOSA. I want to be a HOSA officer because I want to actively improve how involved and connected our members feel. If selected, I would organize structured study sessions before competitions so members feel prepared instead of overwhelmed. I would also create a shared resource system where past competitors can share notes and advice with new members. For service, I would help plan consistent volunteer opportunities that relate directly to healthcare so members can build experience while giving back. This role fits me because I am dependable and committed long term. Through five years of studying Tamil and placing in the top percentiles on Tamil(national) exams, I learned discipline and consistency. Kumon strengthened my time management and accountability. Volunteering at temples and with the Tamil Association taught me how to communicate with different age groups and take initiative during events. I am not applying just for the title. I genuinely want to contribute ideas, follow through on them, and help members feel supported. HOSA has helped me grow, and I want to help create that same growth for others.
