Since then, continued to grow the Hope Gala, raising $370,000 in 2019, $477,000 in 2021 and over $1,000,000 in 2022. Since taking over the management of the Hope Gala, the event has not only seen an increase in fundraising potential, but increased popularity amongst influential leaders in the Greater Knoxville-area.
Served as a lead mentor for the Tennessee Development Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: host statewide collaboration calls for development team, represent Tennessee during cross-state fundraising efforts, serve as a primary leader on "TN Fun Team" for the collaboration and execution of statewide conferences, act as GiveSmart liaison, help guide incoming staff etc.
Utilized contact base to recruit volunteers for corporate partnerships and ACS sister events: Real Men Wear Pink, Go For Gold, Researchers, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Coaches vs Cancer. In 2020, organized the launch of a region-wide Kendra Scott Giveback Weekend to benefit the American Cancer Society locations of Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Tennessee.
Developed and launch new campaigns with volunteers to increase funds for the organization, while also improving community knowledge about the services of the American Cancer Society. In 2019, launched the first-ever, Women's Coalition Against Cancer (WCAC), a group primarily made-up of ladies who attend gala and have a passion to use their network-base in increasing funds for Knoxville-area events.
