As a sexual assault nurse examiner I care for victims of sexual assault throughout Hillsbourgh and Pasco county. I collected forensic DNA evidence to provide information to law enforcement to aid in the arrest and prosecution of sex offenders. There are many areas of my job that are very specific to forensic nursing, however there are many aspects that are centered around patient care that are versatile for all areas of nursing.

I began my career at AHT (then University Community Hospital) as a floor nurse in oncology. I have worked in Women's Health and the Emergency department as both a staff nurse an a team leader.
