  • The store lead position is essentially a store manager in training. You are responsible for maintaining store standards in the absence of the store manager.
  • My role was a bit different. I was utilized as a temporary store manager in various stores, in the event that a store manager was out of the store for a period of time. Or when a store manager position was vacated and there was a need for coverage.
  • The last couple of years of this role, I was utilized to get struggling stores back to performing. I would go in to help with engagement, execution of priorities, setting of expectations, and delivering results.
  • It was a great opportunity to learn how to generate associate buy in. How to drive results in a short amount of time, and to help struggling stores to achieve KPIs again.
