I have worked at various extra help/temporary positions supporting offices in the College of Education and departments in the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.

As the department grew and additional staff were hired, my job became more focused on the department's graduate program. This included administration of the graduate program from admissions to thesis deposit for approximately 190 graduate students. In addition, I assisted with the development of an online Masters degree program and a Master's of Engineering degree program in Department of Aerospace Engineering.

I oversaw the Department of Aerospace Engineering's academic program, acted as the administrative aide to the Department Head, and served as the Human Resources contact for the department.

I coordinated the faculty promotion and tenure process for the College of Education. In addition, I staffed various college committees and oversaw the college election process. This position required discretion in the handling of confidential matters dealing with salaries, hires, promotion and tenure and personnel issues

I was the Human Resources Coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering's faculty and staff. The complex funding base from which faculty and staff were paid required extensive knowledge of Campus personnel policies, federal regulations regarding visa applications and regulations regarding grants and contracts. I also served as the departmental coordinator for managing conflict of interest issues for faculty start-up companies

I served as the Business Manager for the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering providing complete financial and personnel management for a department with 18 faculty, 300 undergraduate students, 60 graduate students and expenditures of over $3.5M per year.
