Aquatic Center supervisor, in charge of learn to swim programs, water aerobics programs, recreation & lap swimming daily schedules. I also train all of the new hires for Lifeguarding, CPR/AED/First Aid/Oxygen Administration, Water Safety Instruction and Emergency Medical Responder Training. I am also responsible for maintaining the pool chemistry as well as weekly maintenance for backwashing the filters and cleaning of the hair nets for all 3 pools at the Aquatic Center.

Pool Lifeguard for the County of Maui's 7 outdoor facilities. My job was to ensure the safety of the community patrons who utilize the pool's for recreation and fitness. I taught the community American Red Cross learn to swim levels as part of the county's free learn to swim program.

I was originally hired as a lifeguard/swim instructor with the YMCA then offered advancement within 4 months of being hired. I was required to submit a budget for 2 different departments, aquatics as well as the A+ program at Kamalii Elementary School in Kihei. I was responsible for hiring the staff for both departments, training them and scheduling of work hours for both departments.
