I started working for Mayo Clinic in May 2018 as an insurance clerk working non-contracted denials. I have been in the same position under different supervisors. I have learned to work many different payors and denials since my employment began. I have learned how to work non-contracted, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, United Medical Resources, and many more. I have learned how to appeal denied claims and obtain retro authorizations. I have learned some coding denials. I have grown over the years in regards to payors and denials.
