  • I am completing my school psychology practicum at Rio San Gabriel Elementary School within the Downey Unified School District as part of my M.A. in School Psychology at Fresno Pacific University, under the supervision of a licensed school psychologist. In this role, I provide individual and small-group counseling, co-facilitate social skills groups, and support classrooms through push-in services that target emotional regulation and interpersonal problem-solving skills. I also participate in psychoeducational assessments and assist with report writing as part of my training in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • I prioritize building strong rapport and trust with students and aim to create developmentally and culturally responsive environments that support engagement and skill development. Under supervision, I also participate in IEP meetings and crisis response shadowing, which further supports my professional growth in consultation, collaboration, and systems-level understanding of school psychology practice.
