I have been a registered nurse for 4 years. My primary experience has been on a medical-surgical telemetry unit specializing in stroke care. Prior to becoming an RN, I was a CNA for 3 years working in both long-term and acute care. I have been a resource nurse for the past 2 years, as well as a preceptor and mentor to many new grads, new staff, and students. I am looking to advance my career into the position of a family nurse practitioner to grow and continue to share my compassion with others. I am currently in Nurse Practitioner School at Purdue Global University; I graduate in June 2024. I have completed 480 clinical hours with Meritus clinics and starting April 17th I start my clinical rotation with Jasmine Pega at Meritus Primary Care.
