Duties include: Autorefraction Tests, NCT Air Puff Tonometry, Testing macular degeneration symptoms -Dark Adaptometry AdaptDx THEIA (AI goggles), Visual Field Screening, OptoMap Retinal Imaging, Dispense contact lens (with Dr Rx), Processing payments as well as diagnostic imaging equipment end of day close.

I homeschooled up until this current school year. He is finally ready to integrate into the school system and is reading and writing and attending school. #Proud Mama :))

• Personal assistant to Dr Jennifer (Smullens) Tirino, Neurotologist. I scheduled all surgeries performed at Egleston, Northside, Wellcare North Fulton & our surgery center, as well as assisted with minor in-office surgeries. I facilitated preoperative appointments for all surgical patients as well as coordinate with other surgeons ordering special equipment from various companies. Coordinated rep luncheons and surgeon meetings.
• Served as a key liaison between device manufacturers for surgical implantation of a vast number of hearing platforms as well as facilitated all of the prior approvals necessary.
• Navigated surgical patients to the proper facilities, in network with their insurance, for diagnostic testing/imaging and assured medical clearances were obtained.
• I educated and monitored patients on conservative medicinal treatment and/or pain management for those suffering from chronic, debilitating conditions such as vertigo, dizziness, chronic cough & sinus pressure, difficulty swallowing, tinnitus or chronic pain due to an acoustic neuroma prior to surgical intervention with our associate brain surgeons.
• I helped patients make payment arrangements after determining what their insurance would cover as well as all of the referral and prior approval process from beginning to end.
