Using my own transportation, delivered meals two days a week to homebound seniors and provide assistance with any issues or health problems. Sort meals and arrange by client and delivery type. Delivered four days a week during Covid in absence of many of our usual drivers and day groups who were closed during this time.

Provided caregiving to a senior who was very active but no longer able to drive and needed assistance with balance issues and appointments. Provided companionship and help with all medical and other appointments. Handled food shopping and other errands as well as pick up of young grandchildren from school bus. Also provided childcare during these appointments if necessary and attended school functions.

I was lucky enough to be able to provide live in full time care for my father after my mother's sudden passing. He had dementia and required help eating and washing. Provided constant support as there were also balance issues and he was prone to falling. Supervised all in home medical visits and handled his caregiving schedule.
