Goal-focused, determined college student, ready to begin her professional career and climb the ladder to success. Hello, I am Stephanie Segovia, a first-generation university attendee at CSUF. As a psychology major with a minor in child development, I wish to become a professional in the field of child psychology and hope to possess an entry-level job. My experiences as a middle school AVID Tutor and Barista/Team Member, along with my copious volunteer experience at a local elementary school, have shaped me to become a pillar of a someday career success. As a tutor, I strive to motivate and encourage my students to reach their academic goals through lesson development, tutorials, and techniques. I believe that children are a key aspect of a great future, so it is our responsibility to shape passionate, driven students. As a barista/team member, I am grateful to be such an integral part of the customer service experience, so I continuously hold a positive attitude and am flexible between different positions in order to keep up with demand.
