30 years as a Psychiatric RN

I found psychiatric nursing in Nursing School. I have devoted my career (30 years) to helping those with mental health issues, specifically those with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Depression. I retired in June 2025 at 52 years old. I am very proud of my career. I have grown as a person through my career to be a hard working, dedicated, detail oriented patient advocate. I have excellent listening skills, am empathetic, and mindful of others state of being. I feel my people skills have helped me in all walks of life.
